Seminar: He Got Game

This seminar will examine Spike Lee's He Got Game through the lens of systemic pressure, coerced choices, and the emotional cost of "Black excellence." 

It will explore how institutions commodify Black talent while denying true autonomy, and how this burden isolates figures like the film's star character, Jesus Shuttlesworth.
