Coolidge Shorts
Coolidge Shorts is a year-round program in which two short films (six minutes and under) are selected each month to screen before feature films.
In 2009, the Coolidge Corner Theatre launched a new initiative to support established, emerging, and student filmmakers internationally. We accept submissions from organizations, schools, and festivals, as well as individual local and international filmmakers. All genres are considered, including live action, animation, and experimental. This is a unique opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their work before the Coolidge’s monthly audience base of 16,000 patrons in the Greater Boston area.
The June shorts are provided by the Provincetown International Film Festival.
Founded in 1999, the Provincetown International FilmFestival (PIFF) is one of the country's preeminent film festivals, presenting diverse programming - the only year-round programming in Provincetown - that reflects the town's unique place in American history.
For information on the submission process and format requirements, please e-mail shorts@coolidge.org.

Vincent Cafarelli and Candy Kugel worked together for 38 years making animated films, both commercial and personal. Unexpectedly Vincent, after a full day at work, went home, went to bed and never woke up. The Last Time is both a tribute to their collaboration and a recognition of such a sudden and massive loss.

Beyoutiful is a 2D animation that tickles the heavy gender identity issue with playful color and cute characters.
