The Coolidge Corner Theatre

As part of our 75th Anniversary celebrations, Tom and Ray Magliozzi, better known as Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers, from NPR's popular radio show, Car Talk appear live on the Coolidge stage to present their favorite film, A THOUSAND CLOWNS.

A THOUSAND CLOWNS (1965) won an Academy Award and another two nominations. Jason Robards plays smart ass Murray Burns, who has left his job writing jokes for a humorless children's show performer. Murray now lives exactly the way he wants and says exactly what he thinks. The problem is that his non-conformist ways worry the authorities who must determine whether he's fit to raise his adoring and gifted 12 year old nephew, Nick.
