Just in case you've actually been trapped in a closet for the past few years, TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET is bad boy R&B superstar R. Kelly's magnum opus -- a sprawling 22-chaptered "hip-hopera" about love, infidelity, handguns, midgets, rubbers, and oh, so much more. Maybe you've even seen them on DVD in a room with friends. But you haven't fully experienced them until you've rapped along with Kells in a theater full of hundreds of friends and a bevy of props hidden around the room.

We'll screen the best parts from all 22(!) chapters with bouncing-ball sing-a-long lyrics, a bevy of other classic videos from R. Kelly's amazing career (everyone ready for the Bump N’ Grind? what about Step in the Name of Love?), a special on-screen "interview" with the man himself, an amazing 10 year old kiddie remake of the first chapter of Trapped, and more! By the end of the show, Sylvester won't be the only one who'll scream out, "Oh my god, a rubber!... (rubber)... (rubber)"

And for those in the know: well, you probably know we did this ridiculously fun sing-a-long for sold-out crowds back in 2006. Those shows helped spawn our love affair with crazy sing-alongs (with names like Ladies of the 80s, Love Bites, and Jiggy Crunk) -- all curated and hosted by Henri Mazza from Austin's famous Alamo Drafthouse. Mazza not only returns to treat us to this new, improved version of the "Trapped" sing-along Friday night, he'll also give us lessons on how to Thrill the World at the all-new MICHAEL JACKSON sing-along Saturday night.
