Master safecracker Gary “Gal” Dove (Ray Winstone) has left a life of crime and retired to a sunny Spanish villa with his wife and another couple. However, their newfound bliss comes to an abrupt end by the arrival of irate, unhinged former criminal associate Don Logan (Ben Kingsley). When Gal refuses to assist an insistent Don on a London bank heist, chaos ensues and Gal finds himself inexorably drawn back to the life he has tried to escape. Kingsley received an Academy Award nomination for his hilariously profane turn in this darkly comic thriller.
