Lesotho, a mountainous kingdom in Sub-Saharan Africa, hit hard by the HIV/AIDS epidemic, faces an epidemic of another kind -- the massive departure of its' health care professionals to the Republic of South Africa -- which borders Lesotho on all sides.

MOUNTAINS OF HOPE tells the harrowing story of the courageous doctors and nurses who stayed, what they go through on a day-to-day basis, and what is being done to lure more of them back to a place in a dire state of need.

All proceeds from the December 10th screening of Mountains of Hope will benefit the work of Global Primary Care, a non-profit organization supporting the work of the Lesotho-Boston Health Alliance to tackle the human resource crisis in Lesotho.
