The story is based on the relationship of three people with a question is it love possible after the tragedy which they experienced. They are trying to rebuild their lives after the tragic event.
Director's biography:
Lukas Nola was born in Zagreb, in 1964. He graduated from Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, film and TV directing. He is a theater, film and TV director, who started his career as an assistant set technician, assistant production designer and production designer. His first directing job was a children’s TV drama "Suma Striborova" for which he also wrote the screenplay and composed music. His first feature film While No One is Watching won the “Oktavijan” Award of the Croatian Film Critics’ Association at Croatian Film Festival. His second film Every time we say Good bye won the “Oktavijan” Award and five "Zlatna Arena" Awards at Croatian Film Festival in Pula, as well as yearly national award "Vladimir Nazor" for distinguished achievements in the field of art, or in this case film. Russian meat is his third film which was highly appreciated by the critics and audiences alike. It was screened at numerous festivals, retrospectives, and presentations across Europe. Lukas Nola wrote screenplays, directed and cooperated in the composing of music for all above mentioned films.

•Croatian director Lukas Nola "Alone" (Sami) was presented with best direction award at the 48th annual Pula Film Festival. Best camera went to Mirko Pivcevic in Alone and Ana Savic-Gecan received the best costumes award for Alone.
