The 6th annual Independent Film Festival of Boston will showcase over 150 screenings, nightly parties, weekend panel discussions, over 100 guest filmmakers, celebs, special guests and more! Films will screen at the Coolidge Corner Theatre from April 24 to April 29, including our Closing Night Film ENCOUNTERS AT THE END OF THE WORLD by Werner Herzog on April 29 at 8pm.
Expected guests at the festival this year include Famke Janssen (appearing with the film TURN THE RIVER), Mary Stuart Masterson (with her directorial debut THE CAKE EATERS), Project Runway Season 1 winner Jay McCarroll (with the documentary ELEVEN MINUTES), Brad Neely and Harry & The Potters with the documentary WE ARE WIZARDS, and many of the top independent filmmakers today including Guy Maddin, Tom Kalin, Nanette Burnstein, and dozens and dozens of others.
