Don’t miss our pre-film concert from the Brookline Teen Center Hip Hop Group and Bizarre Records, feautring performances from Master Faboo, PoorBoy, and Blue Cube!

Jim Jarmusch's (Mystery Train, Gimme Danger) updated tribute to Jean-Pierre Melville's Le Samouraï is a quietly cool meditation on race and identity, featuring an intricate, beat-heavy score from Wu Tang Clan's RZA.

Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland, Arrival) gives an incredible performance as the titular Ghost Dog, a hitman-for-hire who happens to also follow the Bushido code of the Samurai. Combining elements from the Italian Mafia, feudal Japan, and 90s hip hop, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai is playful yet somber, absurd yet poignant, capturing one man's quest for meaning in modern America.
