Nominated for 10 Academy Awards (the most for a non-English film at the time), including Best Picture, the film won Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Art Direction, Best Original Score and Best Cinematography. Join Emerson College professor Yu-jin Chang in his exploration of the hidden stories behind the film's unexpected success.

Yu-jin Chang is Assistant Dean of the School of the Arts and Associate Professor of Literature in the Department of Writing, Literature & Publishing at Emerson College in Boston.
