There's no place on earth to hide from these extraterrestrial terrors!

The Coolidge Corner Theatre's Halloween Horror Marathon has crash landed—join us for twelve straight hours of aliens, invaders, monsters from beyond the stars, and more, all on 35mm film!

For the eighteenth time, hundreds of horror fans from across New England will descend upon the Coolidge to spend the night together watching some of the most terrifying films ever made. Blasting off at midnight on Saturday, October 27th we begin with The War of the Worlds (1953), followed by Ridley Scott's survival horror in space, Alien

After these first two films, horror fanatics can stick around for another five U.F.Os (Unidentified Film Offerings) throughout the night. As per Marathon tradition, the titles won’t be revealed until they hit the screen, but one thing is certain: there will be plenty of intergalactic killers, creatures, goo, and gore to keep the audience up all night!

Also featuring our cosmic costume contest, music by thereminist Jon Bernhardt, flying saucers from the Coolidge's top secret Trailer Hangar, and much more!
