A terrifying tale of isolation and witchcraft.

Newlyweds Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse (Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes) move into the massive Bramford apartment building on the edge of Central Park in the Upper West Side of Manhattan with the hopes of starting a family and launching a burgeoning acting career. Meddlesome but seemingly well meaning neighbors Minnie and Roman Castevet (Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer) quickly befriend the Woodhouses and help them get settled in their new digs. When unexpected things begin to happen, however, Rosemary suspects that there's more behind the surface of the Castevets' interest in her than just tea and sympathy.

Roger Ebert heralded the film, calling it "a brooding, macabre film, filled with the sense of unthinkable danger." It was nominated for two Academy Awards (winning Best Supporting Actress for Ruth Gordon) and four Golden Globes (winning for Mia Farrow and Ruth Gordon), and has since gone on to become one of the most beloved horror films of all time.
