Mister G's new CD, Bugs, has been hailed by People Magazine as "irresistible" and one of the "Hot Kids' CDs of 2011."
"Mister G (Ben Gundersheimer) delivers a baker’s dozen worth of original tunes full of kid-friendly lyrics, singable melodies, tight harmonies, just-right arrangements... the Massachusetts-based singer/songwriter/producer hits the mark... Fans of Dan Zanes will enjoy what Mister G has to offer." — School Library Journal
Mister G (Ben Gundersheimer) has a Masters in Elementary Education from Smith College, a BA in English from Amherst College, and over twenty years experience as an award-winning musician.
Inspired by his former students, Ben released his debut children's CD of original songs, Pizza for Breakfast, in September 2009. A Young Audiences featured act, Ben performs concerts and conducts educational workshops in the United States and abroad. Winner of the first songwriting scholarship in the history of Berklee College of Music, Ben specializes in promoting creativity and ecological awareness through his music. Recently, he's performed with Dan Zanes in Northampton, MA, led a song-writing workshop with kids in London, and filmed a video for his forthcoming Spanish-language CD with children in Colombia, South America.
