Moviehouse One, our grand downstairs theatre, seats 440 people. The theatre features state-of-the-art film projection as well as a large stage ideal for panel discussions, Q&A's, and live performances.
Moviehouse Two used to be the balcony when the Coolidge was a one-theatre house. It is now a medium-size, 217-seat theatre featuring state-of-the-art film projection and audio, as well as a small stage ideal for director q&a's, small performances and group discussions.
The GoldScreen seats 14 in our plush deluxe seats and features high-definition digital projection

The Coolidge is proud to present the new digital restoration of one of the most sweeping epics in film history.
Based on the life and exploits of T.E. Lawrence (played immaculately by newcomer Peter O'Toole) during World War I, Lawrence of Arabia is ultimately a meditation on the meaning of war and freedom. Lawrence, a misfit British Army lieutenant, is sent to assist Arab Prince Faisal (Alec Guinness) in his revolt against the Turks. As he develops a kinship with Price Faisal and the plight of the Arab National Council, he soon becomes a military leader for the guerrilla attacks against Turkish targets
