The Alphabet Rockers
Saturday, May 4
Alphabet Rockers is family hip-hop music, matching nostalgic beats with kid-friendly lyrics. It's a soundtrack for the modern family!
Founded in 2007 in San Francisco by Harvard Graduate Kaitlin McGaw, Alphabet Rockers mix hip hop, beatboxing, soul music, imagination and dance for an interactive and fun dance party for children (age 2-7) and families. The group features Tommy Shepherd, Stefanie Liang, and McGaw, and has a sound and personality that draws in families and kids of all backgrounds. You will tap your toes and feel the beat, sing along with your kids in the car, and go back to school with the educational messages, and then realize... oh wait, this is my kid's CD!
The Alphabet Rockers have received: Two Parents' Choice Awards, 4 Stars: Common Sense Media, National Parenting Publications Award, Education.com Best CD of the Year, Red Tricycle: Best Kids Artist. They have released two CDs and an iPhone app for kids and families to enjoy.
